On Monday evening the Broncos travelled to face cross town rivals, the North Cougars. The Broncos started off the game with a long drive that took up most of the first quarter with a touchdown pass from Brody Mitchell to Landon Ray. Offensively the Broncos kept rolling as Brody Mitchell added two more scores on the ground along with Carson Hodge who added a 50 yard rushing touchdown of his own. Liam Montgomery ran for 30 yards on a carry from the big lineman. Defensively the Broncos scored multiples touchdowns for the 3rd game in a row with Siddharth Kanaparthi scoring on a pick six and Brody Mitchell scooping up a fumble for a score. The Broncos take care of business with a score of 48-6.
The Broncos B team faced off against a stout Cougars B team. Early in the first quarter Davis Bales set the tone with a fumble recovery that led to a rushing touchdown by Jackson Pope-Hopkins. Pope-Hopkins found the endzone three more times adding two more rushing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown. Ryan Smith and Liam Hannah led a strong defensive effort for the Broncos with Smith stopping the Cougars for a safety and Hannah with a sack of the quarterback. Broncos win 32-13.
